Qatar Condemns Military Escalation Against Ethiopian Federal Forces

The State of Qatar condemned the military escalation against Ethiopia’s federal forces, describing it as a serious threat to the unity and sovereignty of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and to security and stability in the Horn of Africa.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need for an immediate end to the escalation and hostilities, the protection of civilians and compliance with the Pretoria Peace Agreement.

In this context, the Ministry affirmed Qatar’s full support for all efforts aimed at reducing tensions in Ethiopia, paving the way for the resolution of all disputes through dialogue and peaceful means.
